What this review deliberately preserved

Debiasing never means preferential treatment for any group, and it never removes a requirement the role genuinely needs. Genuine skills, qualifications, working patterns and safety requirements are kept — and where a real requirement read as a barrier, it was restated accessibly rather than removed.

  • Proven ability to lead shift teams of 20 or more — a genuine requirement for running the night shift
  • Working knowledge of WMS and stock-control systems — core tooling for stock accuracy in this role
  • Health and safety compliance ownership across the site — a safety-critical accountability that must stay explicit
  • The genuine physical demands of the role — kept, restated accessibly rather than removed
  • Night-shift working pattern and site-based requirement — inherent to the role; stated plainly up front
  • Accountability for throughput, accuracy and cost reporting — the performance standard the role is hired against
